Engineered per item, not per project.
On a process module, no two items present the same protection problem. A gate valve, a pneumatic actuator, a flanged joint and a cable transit each have different geometry, thermal mass, movement and inspection requirement.
Assessment is therefore carried out item by item against the fire scenario, the required duration and the practical access for fitting and later removal. The resulting schedule is what the fabrication and installation work is built from.
Field-performance evaluation closes the loop: systems are reviewed in service so that maintenance and future specifications reflect what actually happened on the asset.
